Most Smeg hoods offer the choice of ducting or re-circulating, allowing you to choose your preferred method.

Venting or ducting out provides optimum extraction of cooking fumes by expelling them outside, using a vent kit (available as an optional accessory). This hood has a 150mm vent outlet, so you can choose between the following options:

• SP150 - Simple vent kit for hoods with a 150mm diameter vent outlet.
• SP150FLAT - Comprehensive vent kit for hoods with a 150mm diameter vent outlet.

Re-circulating extracts the cooking fumes and passes them through active charcoal filters (available as an optional accessory), recirculating the cleaned air back into the room. To find out which charcoal filter your hood needs, see the accessory tab on the hood's specification.

A powerful intensive speed can be selected when quick extraction is required. Whether you’re creating a sizzling stir-fry or preparing an aromatic curry, even the strongest cooking odours will be removed in no time.

These lights are long-lasting, save energy, and perfectly illuminate the work surface below. They can be switched on independently of the fans and used to create ambient lighting in the kitchen.
