Portofino hoods are elegant and coordinate with the Portofino cooker range, while offering solid extraction and low noise levels.

Most Smeg hoods offer the choice of ducting or re-circulating, allowing you to choose your preferred method.

Venting/Ducting Out: Provides optimum extraction of cooking fumes by expelling them outside, using a vent kit (available as an optional accessory). This hood has a 150mm vent outlet, so you can choose between the following options:

• SP150 - Simple vent kit for hoods with a 150mm diameter vent outlet.
• SP150FLAT - Comprehensive vent kit for hoods with a 150mm diameter vent outlet.

Re-Circulating: Extracts the cooking fumes and passes them through active charcoal filters (available as an optional accessory), recirculating the cleaned air back into the room. To find out which charcoal filter your hood needs, see the accessory tab on the hood’s specification.

A powerful intensive speed can be selected when quick extraction is needed. Whether you’re creating a sizzling stir-fry or preparing an aromatic curry, even the strongest cooking odours will be removed in no time.

These lights are long-lasting, save money, and perfectly illuminate the work surface below. They can be switched on independently of the fans and used to create ambient lighting in the kitchen.

Easy cleaning with washable stainless steel metal grease filter(s), which can be placed in the dishwasher.
