Eight quick wash cycles, including a rapid 14-minute programme, make it particularly useful when you need clean clothes in a hurry.
8kg Capacity for Everyday Laundry
With an 8kg washing capacity, the Candy EY-48SB8-80 offers plenty of space for regular household laundry while retaining a relatively compact 50cm depth. It is well suited to small and medium-sized households that want enough capacity for everyday clothing, towels and bedding without choosing a larger machine than they need.
Eight Quick Wash Cycles
When you don't have time to wait for a long wash programme, the Candy EY-48SB8-80 gives you eight quick wash cycles to choose from. These include a 14-minute quick wash for smaller, lightly soiled loads and a 39-minute programme for mixed fabrics, helping you fit laundry more easily around a busy day.
MixPower System for Effective Fabric Care
Candy's MixPower System combines water and detergent before directing the mixture onto your clothes. By distributing the detergent solution directly through the load, the system is designed to provide effective cleaning while helping to care for the fibres of your garments.
1400rpm Spin Speed
A 1400rpm maximum spin speed helps remove excess water from your clothes at the end of the wash. This means laundry comes out with less moisture remaining, helping to reduce the amount of drying required afterwards.
Steam Function for Added Flexibility
The built-in steam function adds another option to the Candy EY-48SB8-80's 12 washing programmes, giving you greater flexibility when caring for different loads. Adjustable temperature controls also allow you to select an appropriate wash temperature to suit your laundry.
Drum Clean Cycle
Keeping your washing machine clean is an important part of maintaining its performance. The dedicated Drum Clean cycle makes routine maintenance simple, with a cleaning cycle recommended after every 50 washes to help keep the drum hygienic and ready for your next load.
Convenient Everyday Controls
Simple button controls and a clear LED display make it easy to select and manage your wash programmes. There's also a 24-hour delay timer, allowing you to schedule a cycle around your routine, plus a child lock for added reassurance in family households.
Energy-Efficient Washing
With an A energy efficiency rating, the Candy EY-48SB8-80 is designed to wash everyday loads efficiently. Combined with its 8kg capacity and choice of shorter programmes, it provides a practical balance of capacity, convenience and energy efficiency for regular household use.

The Candy EY-48SB8-80 is a particularly good fit for small and medium-sized households looking for an efficient 8kg washing machine with plenty of quick-wash flexibility.
