Bosch SMS2HVW06G Freestanding Dishwasher

The Bosch Series 2 SMS2HVW06G Freestanding Dishwasher in White combines a generous 14-place-setting capacity with flexible loading and smart connectivity. This 60 cm dishwasher offers a dedicated cutlery drawer, stronger drying with Extra Dry and a Half Load option, making it a practical choice for everyday meals and larger gatherings.

The Vario Drawer provides a third loading level for cutlery and smaller kitchen utensils, keeping them separate from plates and cookware. The three-stage Rackmatic upper basket adjusts in height to accommodate taller items, while two folding tines in the lower rack help you adapt the space to each load.

A heat exchanger drying system is complemented by the Extra Dry option, which increases drying performance when a load needs additional help. Select it alongside your wash programme for stronger drying without having to choose a different dishwasher.

Choose from Economy, Auto 45–65°C, Intensive, Quick L, Night and Custom programmes. SpeedPerfect+, also listed as varioSpeed Plus, reduces washing time when you need clean dishes sooner. Half Load gives you an option for smaller loads, while the delay timer lets you postpone the start by up to 24 hours.

The Bosch SMS2HVW06G supports remote monitoring and control through the Home Connect app, including Remote Start. Additional app functions include Hygiene Plus, Intensive Zone and Silence on Demand. Connected features require an internet connection, a Home Connect account and a SingleKey ID account.

The Silence Programme, listed as the Night programme, offers a quieter washing option. The SilentPowerDrive motor is designed for efficient, quieter operation, and the dishwasher has a stated noise level of 46 dB(A).

Rated energy efficiency class C on the A–G scale, this dishwasher uses 9 litres of water per Eco cycle. Its stated Eco energy consumption is 75 kWh per 100 cycles, helping you compare running requirements before buying.

This full-size freestanding dishwasher suits households that want room for family meals, flexible space for cookware and the convenience of checking or controlling their appliance remotely. Its white finish and removable top also provide a built-under installation possibility, subject to suitable space and installation requirements.

From separating cutlery to adjusting the basket for taller dishes, the Bosch Series 2 SMS2HVW06G makes loading easier to organise. Useful drying, timing and connected options let you tailor washing around your day rather than relying on one standard cycle.
