A working kitchen, a talented local baker and some delicious Kent produce: our kitchen showroom has become a place where local businesses can come together and share what they do.
Wellingtons Electrical and Wellingtons Kitchens have been working with Lesley Anne Bakes, whose Lesley appeared on The Great British Bake Off in 2025. Lesley has been using the working kitchen at our Erith kitchen showroom for collaborations with local food and drink businesses, including Dockyard jams, Chapel Down and Hoads Korker Sausages.
For us, providing the space is a practical way to support other businesses in our area, helping good ideas take shape.
Making Space for Local Talent
Every business brings something different to a collaboration. Lesley brings her baking knowledge and creativity, producers bring their ingredients and expertise, and we provide a working kitchen where everything can come together.
Dockyard’s preserves, Chapel Down’s wines and Hoads Korker Sausages each showcase something of the food and drink being produced in Kent. It’s lovely to see those products finding their way into collaborations in our showroom.
These relationships also help businesses introduce one another to new audiences. Someone discovering a bake through Lesley might learn about a local producer, while someone following that producer might discover Wellingtons for the first time.
Did You Know Wellingtons Does Kitchens Too?
You may know us for washing machines, fridge freezers, ovens and televisions, but Wellingtons also designs and installs kitchens.
Our Wellingtons Kitchens showroom in Erith is part of the same family business. Here, you can explore kitchen displays, discuss your plans with our team and find appliances to suit the way you cook and live.
Having a working kitchen means the showroom gets used as a kitchen should: for preparing food, trying ideas and bringing people together. Our work with Lesley is a lovely example of that.
Supporting Each Other, Close to Home
As a local family business, we value the relationships we build with customers and fellow businesses. Sharing our space is one way we can contribute, and we’re pleased to see it helping local collaborations grow.
